If we both chose to last

The sorrows that seemed to have gone,
Float back to me again.
A sunny day had just begun,
But again it started to rain.
Each day spent without you,
Takes me back in the past.
Shows me all the things we did,
And the things we could have done
If we both chose to last.

Nothing Lasts Forever

One thing I know is that,
I have found you to lose you.
Seasons change and so do hearts,
It's not right to accuse you.

Stories have an end,
But time doesn't.
Can you avoid my thoughts
When I am not present?

I am waiting for the day,
When you will say goodbye.
And darling don't hesitate,
Because I will not cry.

The last moment

My throat is dry
And your eyes are wet.
You are leaving me
But you will regret.

No, am not saying this
Because I want you to suffer.
But even you know this empty phase
Isn't a tasty supper.

We walked into each other
We lived every moment.
And we both know we can't forget
The very last moment.

A friend we all have

He is aware, he is burning his money
With every cigarette he smokes.
He is too fond of seriousness
And it reflects in his jokes.

His friends are his puppets,
He teaches them discipline,
Secrets of going to bad places
And coming out clean.

Self reliance is his motto,
Which he often forgets.
Asks his friends politely
To pay for his cigarettes.

He holds tiny birds
Behind the bars
And plays songs of freedom
On his guitar.

His spirit smells like of a teen
With an age old attire
People, this is a true story,
Don't call it satire.

Careless

He climbed the tall trees
With no fear of falling down.
He swam in the marshy lakes.
He knew, he will never drown.
He grew up catching snakes.
For him, it was a child's play.
He lived carefree,
Every moment of the day.
People called him insane
Said, "He is careless."
But his carelessness made him
A careful being today.

Immortal

Rebel he found in himself
As he thought he would die
His body told him to quit
But his heart chose to try

Nothing would stop him now
Not even death
His deeds will make him immortal
To himself he bet

This story is not of a minister
Who's car is driven by a chauffeur
But the real patriot of the nation
Who is fighting hard at the border

Better

She is not talking to anyone
Chooses to remain quiet
Rather than facing this loud world
Selects the silent disguise

The reason for her sickness
Is not this bad weather
But the people who broke her heart
That she was trying to treasure

She is now afraid of dreams
The unrealistic pleasure
Prays to God before she sleeps
Hoping things to get better
